Chiropractor: Humanitarian Mission

My personal propose is to bring chiropractic to people without resources. Helping needed people.

In 2020 and 2022 I got the chance to realize my volunteering in Cajamarca – Perú. Where I collaborated with local institution.

During that time, I had the privilege to help hundreds of people coming from all over the Country to be visited by me. It was so rewarding, even if exhausting, helping them and being witness of their amazing improving.

Many times, their problems come from the lack of correct medical care.

Every day there are more chiropractors taking part in humanitarian missions all over the world, like India, Haití, Perú, Kenia. Domenican Republic, México.

Humanitarian mission: Chiropractor Peru 2020

From the 19th to the 21st of February 2020, I got the change to complete my first chiropractic humanitarian mission. Thanks to the support of the “Municipalidad Provincial de Cajamarca”, who allow me a space at the Local Medical Centre, it has been possible to reach many people. They took care of the communication to the local community too.

During those 3 days, I had the chance to visit many people with different problems, this thanks to many nurses who helped me and this people selfless.

Many of those pathologies come from physical work done by those people, who don’t receive an adequate medical care due to the lack of resources.

The initiative was so well welcomed, that places run out during the first day.
I thank the mayor Andrés Villar Narro, for supporting and facilitating my work. He also gifted me with an honorary citizen medal.

Humanitarian mission: Chiropractor Peru 2022

On the 5th and 6th of August 2022, I was on my second chiropractic mission. This time, thanks to the support of El Club de Leones de Cajamarca, we habilitated a space in the medical centre of Tulpuna.

As part of their social work with the low resources local communities, the club invited people to attend chiropractic visits for free.

Volunteers helped me during those 2 days, and places run out after the first two hours.

I’m so grateful to the Club de Leones de Cajamarca for their collaboration. They helped chiropractic to reach many people and improve their pains despite the lack of medical care at the moment of the injury.
